Leader Team

Dr Abdelhalim Rabehi
a.rabehi@univ-djelfa.dz

The IVITS team aims to develop methodological and algorithmic tools for processing information, taking into account multimedia content (image and video), at the level of the transmitter and the receiver (synchronization, equalization, channel coding, multiple access techniques, etc.).
The research axis of this team also focuses on the design of intelligent decision support systems including the application of artificial intelligence techniques and meta-heuristic and bio-inspired optimization methods.
The research areas of this team relate to the modeling and simulation of transport channels, the performance of digital RF and optical wireless communications systems, and the implementation of communication systems from baseband to RF .
The projected themes can be presented as follows (non-exhaustive list);
– Digital communications: channel coding, network coding, MIMO systems, multiple access techniques,
– Multi-carrier modulations, time-space coding, precoding, resource allocation;
– Modeling/Simulation/characterization of Transmission Channels:
– Optical Wireless Communication (OWC), Visible Light Communication (VLC)
– Software defined radio
– Energy optimization of RF transmitters.
– Integration of optical devices for the realization of RF functions.
– Modern image and lyrics processing tools.
– Artificial intelligence and its applications in the field of ICT
