The technology of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) system has developed into the AC–DC hybrid power grid. Compared with traditional AC power grids. HVDC system can improve the long-distance and large-power transmission capacity and flexibility of the power grid and promote renewable energy integration. However, new problems such as faults and commutation failure needs research on the corresponding new problems has important values. The main contribution of this study are improves simulation of the HVDC system, and proposes a novel dynamic control strategy, protection and the optimization process.
